The name LaPerle, meaning “Pearl” in French, reflects our roots in Saigon, historically known as the “Pearl of the Far East.” Drawing from this vibrant city’s unique blend of Eastern and Western influences, LaPerle creates architectural and interior designs that are a harmonious fusion of styles, exuding elegance, functionality, and a profound appreciation for nature.

ABOUT FOUNDER

Architect Khiem Nguyen is an International Associate of American Institute of Architects (AIA) with almost 20 years of professional experience. As founder & CEO of LaPerle, Khiem Nguyen oversees overall operations and is deeply involved in the design process. As Vietnam’s country representative for AIA International, he has organized and curated international conferences and symposiums for AIA. Recently, Khiem Nguyen also represented Vietnam at international architecture and business events.

After graduating with a Distinction from University of Architecture Ho Chi Minh City (UAH), Khiem Nguyen has amassed experience in architecture-related projects across Vietnam and the UK. In 2019, he was awarded a Master’s scholarship by Fulbright School of Public Policy and Management. Currently, Khiem Nguyen is a visiting lecturer at UAH and Vietnamese-German University (VGU), and a speaker at public events such as TedxTalk Dakao and Italian Design Day master classes.
