Impression of MADE Expo Milan, Italy

In response to an invitation from the Italian Trade Agency (ITA) in Vietnam, architect khiem Nguyen, CEO of Laperle Architecture Company, is honored to represent Vietnamese company at the MADE Expo 2023, an exhibition of architecture and new material technology, held in the “Fashion Capital” Milan, Italy
The MADE Expo event takes place at Rho’s Fiera Milano from November 15 to November 18, 2023, focusing on innovation, sustainability, and new material technologies in the field of architectural design and construction. This is one of the largest exhibitions organized in Italy and the European region, held under the patronage of the International Building Alliance MIBA-Milan and attended by over 80,000 partners from 111 countries worldwide.

Over the intensive four-day schedule, the LaPerle representative had the opportunity to meet and exchange ideas with hundreds of partners present at MADE Expo 2023, primarily focusing on companies from Italy and European countries. The participating businesses showcased diversity across various architectural fields, interior design, heritage conservation, technology, and new materials in the construction industry.

MADE Expo is held biennially, and 2023 marks its comeback after a five-year hiatus due to the Covid-19 pandemic. The event serves as a gathering point for leading architectural and construction businesses from Italy and Europe to showcase cutting-edge design technologies and new materials. This is evident through the impressive and professionally invested showrooms. The exhibition space, designed across four large buildings, created a grand event closely tied to the field of designing and constructing environmentally friendly and sustainable architectural projects. The event emphasized energy efficiency and the application of the latest building management technologies.
At the event, the representative of Vietnam, architect Khiem, CEO of LaPerle, visited luxury office building and modern factory design projects undertaken in Ho Chi Minh City and nearby provinces. He combined the promotion of Vietnam’s market potential with direct meetings and exchanges with the heads of companies at MADE Expo 2023.

Here, Architect Khiem had the opportunity to personally witness and experience products, services, technologies, as well as gain a deeper understanding of the culture and professional business practices of international partners. Through this, LaPerle expressed the desire to seek high-quality products and services for clients and design projects in Vietnam. This was also an opportunity for both businesses to expand collaboration opportunities, fostering commercial connections between Vietnamese clients and authentic, high-quality products from Italy and Europe at large.

MADE Expo serves as an ideal showcase to introduce new processes, systems, and materials capable of supporting global experts in the fundamental environmental innovation of the construction industry. MADE Expo offers a comprehensive and diverse collection of products and solutions in construction, modernization and redevelopment, software and technology design, Building Information Modeling (BIM), new materials, construction systems, seismic solutions, safety and site equipment, along with new options to enhance energy efficiency, insulation, and amenities. Additionally, it features materials and finishes for interior architecture and, finally, integrated solutions between buildings and systems.

The MADE Expo exhibition features products and solutions that can integrate design, save energy, ensure safety and comfort, and respond quickly and accurately to climate challenges, as well as design and construction needs. In addition, entrance doors, windows, facades, and roofs, along with their components and accessories, are displayed. The exhibition also showcases door and window manufacturing machines, glass, door closing solutions, screening and automation solutions, as well as outdoor products.
